How it's worked out
- Private sellers based in the UK pay no final value fee or regulatory operating fee on most sales (vehicles excepted). Optional upgrades and international selling can still cost extra.
- Business seller final value fees are charged on the total sale including postage. Some categories use a lower rate above a per-item threshold, which this calculator applies.
- Per-order fee: £0.30 for orders of £10 or less, £0.40 above £10. Regulatory operating fee: 0.35% of the total sale.
